Our TRI horses are dedicated to the students they so lovingly serve, and what better way to show their support for TRI's programming than by Running for the Roses. This year, Boo, Jack and Jeade'en will compete for your support as they run for their students.
How Can You Help? Make a donation in the name of your race favorite, and push that competitor toward the finishline. Donations can be made in any amount and as many times as you would like. Watch the race results and if your horse falls behind, donate again to push him back into the lead.
How Can You Donate? Donate here through PayPal, mail a check, or drop off donations at the barn during TRI lessons to TRI Staff.

The TRI horses will run three races with winners announced the day of:

2nd - jeade'en
3rd - BooPatches' Preakness Stakes May 24th
Beau's Memorial Dash June 9th
What Are We Racing For?
2013 marks TRI's 40th year "improving the lives and health of children and adults in the Greater Miami Valley with special physical, cognitive, social, and psychological needs through Equine Assisted activities and Therapies (EAA/T)." For the first time, TRI has access to its own private indoor arena at our new home of FineLine Stables in Springboro. We now have the space to provide more programming.
Your donation will help us:
- Increase unduplicated number of students served from 79 in 2012 to a potential of 140 in 2013.
- Add At Risk Youth and Horses Assisting Heroes as a permanent part of TRI programming.
- Build partnerships with pediatric mental health facilities, public school systems, and Veterans Administration.
- Increase the number of horses to support additional programming.
- Provide full scholarships as well as a sliding fee scale for families in need.
- Increase class sessions in all our programming areas.
These horses are ready to run for their beloved TRI riders.
